Compaq, Sorenson Media and Digital Island, a Cable & Wireless Company, in cooperation with the Department of Defense, have partnered together to create a technology solution, which allows the families of U.S. service men and women to send Free three-minute video messages via e-mail to their loved ones.
This webcast is a tribute to the Give Thanks America initiative and includes appearances by celebrity supporters of the campaign including Andy Garcia, Bo Derek, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, Maria Conchita-Alonso, Scott Glenn, Burt Reynolds, B.B. The program also includes the background and development of this unique public-private sector cooperative patriotic campaign with comments by Major General Doug Pearson and Compaq Directors A.J.
